A couple of quickies for you...
Buyer: Matt F.
Number of cards: 37
Best card: There were a bunch of Ichiro cards, but the best of the lot was probably 2006 Fleer Ultra #80. Good photo, clean card.
Comments: That Ichiro narrowly beat out the Cool Guy Ichiro card from 2007 First Edition, showing the slugger at an All-Star Fan Fest or Derby-type event. There was also an early A-Rod Road to 500 card.
Buyer: Ryan Cracknell
Number of cards: 49
Best card: In a race to the bottom, 1993 O-Pee-Chee Premier Star Performers #8 Eric Karros
Comments: Lots of cards, lots of junk. A 1991 Upper Deck sticker was probably the second-best thing. Orange 1990 Score Traded cards make me crave citrus fruits.
Franklin Stubbs arreared on a 1986 Topps Traded card I haven't seen before. A little-known and -remembered fact outside of the Milwaukee area is that Stubbs wore uniform #0 for part of his stint as a Brewer. The soccer team on which I most recently played had one guy who picked 0 as his jersey number. He responded well to shouts from the stands urging, "Go Stubbs!"
