Boiled Down to Its Essence: 1993 Upper Deck

At first glance, 1993 Upper Deck looks like it's all about teal uniforms with an unsafe amount of candle power...

...when in reality, if you flip to the back, it's about much more. 1993 Upper Deck is really all about figuring out those new-fangled ball-point pens...

...growing a unibrow that elects its own congressman...

...dreaming the dream of a softball player while living the dream of a baseball player...

...gettin' all coy on us after spotting that hot blonde in the third row...

...but most of all, 1993 Upper Deck is about sporting a moustache that's used as a template by the U.S. Department of Weights and Measures.

Would anyone notice if Kevin Bass traded his mustache for Stam Javier's eyebrows?

Only a few people know that, after he retired, Kevin Bass became an actor. He is still playing the character "Cleveland" on the Family Guy.

True story.
