They Here

Here they is.

First and foremost, I want to give thanks to the UPS man, dude snuck behind the house and left the shit at the back door like a bandit, keeping it out of the public view and keeping it away from the riffraff.

Break will happen soon, probably split into two sessions, but with optional director commentary.

I also need payment from Dan Lowe, who chose the Marlins. Dan has 24 hours to pay, or any Marlins cards revert to public domain. Videos will not be posted until all payments are received. Also waiting on Swag, but I know he's good for it (and hopefully already sent payment).

Feel free to post your level of excitement for the break in the comments section on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being your feelings on the portrayal of and allusions to the Quebec separatist movement in the works of Margaret Atwood, 10 being your favorite team is two outs away from clinching a World Series title.

I am crossing my fingers for good Kouz jersey cards.

I am at about 7.374 as I didn't get my favorite team (Mets) but the Rays can yield some good stuff so bring it on.

HEY.

Some of us like Margaret Atwood...

I'd be more excited if I'd gotten the Phillies (there are Steve Carlton cards in there). But I'll settle for a nice Oswalt or Berkman jersey.

I'm going to go with 8 since I got the Mets and it is the first group break I am involved in.

This is my first group break so I gotta go with a 9. Could be a fun break. Only thing that would bump it up to a 10 is if I had the Cardinals.

Just asked Isaac... "at least a 9.' Our Cardinals season tickets arrived today, we had our first catch of the year, and now a weekend break with the Cardinals in hand.

We have some Mets Heroes from a break last year if anyone is interested.

I am a few steps above a 7... I bought 2 packs of Heroes from K-Mart and they had been searched and creased to death. I like the cards despite the creases but have never seen it for sale since... I would be happier if I had the Rays, but I have a serious shot at a Roberto Clemente autograph for 6 bucks, right? Yes! This is my second group break, but I am amped at least a little... Thank goodness the ups guy kept the cards out of the view of the riff raff.

Hate to break it to you, Troll, but I don't think there's a Roberto Clemente autograph available in this set. I haven't heard about any cut signature cards, and I don't believe any organization, public or private, has successfully carried out the reanimation of dead human tissue. But maybe there was an Upper Deck rep with a sheet of auto stickers on that plane.

I'm at about 1.54. This low level is mostly due to the fact that I'm not in it. That is mostly due to the fact that the Indians always seem to sell out about 5 minutes after a break is opened.

That Swag guy...yeah, don't know him so I can't vouche for him.

I would say an 8 or 9 if I had been paying attention. But I didn't so I got my fifth choice team. In honor of the A's, that aforementioned fifth choice, I'm going with a 7.4

It is my first break, after all.

I'm going to say about a 3, but only because Ike's Cards beat me to the Cards cards. However, that number may jump up significantly if they end up with some non-base dupes that they feel like trading....

Since I have my Braves, I think I can safely say that this is the 197th most exciting moment of my life. I rate this a solid 8.
