The 100 Best Finds in a 30-Dollar Lot: #24

2010 Topps Chrome #217 Hisanori Takahashi Orange Refractor

Thirty-five-year-old rookies don't always make the most collectible cards, but Takahashi isn't your standard rookie. He pitched for ten years in Japan with the Yomiuri Giants before joining the Mets. Orange refractors make great Mets cards, and I'd imagine they make great Orioles cards. Probably not much else other than those two. Should Takahashi be honored with an orange-fractor this year, it will go on an Angels card. Let's hope for red.
