Time to Pay Up, Folks!

The February group break will go forward... once all of the claimed slots have been paid for. Peer pressure works well, in case you're interested in harassing someone.

Damn it Tim, get with the program!

It is well known throughout the blogosphere that Tim can't always be counted on to pay for his group breaks in a timely manner. It wouldn't surprise me to find a Wikipedia entry that says just that.

This is Tim's fiance. Just to show you how bad he is with timeliness, he gave me my Valentine's Day gift last year on August 4th.

This is Tim's mother. I was in labor for nine days with him because he refused to be delivered on his scheduled due date.

Come on, Tim, you're holding up the group break!

Come on, Chris Mays! Why don't you step up and pay for Tim if you want your Braves so damn much?

Geez, Tim. Dusty Baker could've ruined four more pitchers' arms in the time it has taken you to pay. Sheesh.

(I ain't paying shit)

This is Tim's mother again. I don't know who the anonymous commenter was who first commented but profanity is not necessary. We raised Timmy better than that and expect better from his friends.

Timmy, this is your mother again. I'm beginning to worry about you. You haven't called, you haven't paid for your group break. Please pay for your group break so that I know you're all right.

Love,
Timmy's Mom

Tim, this is your father. You have your mother worried sick. Please, son, pay for your group break. You're an adult now and it's time to demonstrate some responsibility.

Tim, this is your fiance. We're through. You know how much I wanted a 2005 Fleer Flair Kerry Wood card and despite all we've been through, you won't commit to the group break. I'm not going to wait until Valentines Day. If you won't give me some Wood, I'll find someone else who will.

Tim, this is Ernie Banks (Mr. Cub). I'm known for saying "Let's play two" but this time Tim, I'm saying "Let's pay for two". I'm talking about the two teams you signed up for in Thorzul's group break, Tim. I don't know what you're doing taking both the White Sox and the Cubs. I mean what the hell part of Chicago are you from where you root for both teams? Maybe you're hoping for a Joe Crede card or something. He's the only guy on the White Sox who ever did anything. Regardless, you need to pay up, Tim. And tell Thorzul Ernie says hi.

Tim. Bert Blyleven here. I wasn't going to get involved but when Ernie made a remark, I knew I had to because Ernie and Bert are a team. Don't worry about what Ernie said as far as your rooting for both the White Sox and the Cubs. I know that sometimes you must feel confused. You feel the pressures of society to be one way but inside you're curious. You wonder what it's like to root for the other team. So you give them a shot and you sort of like it. Now you're more confused. Do you root for one team or the other? Well, I'm telling you Tim, it's OK to swing both ways. Not everyone's going to understand it or approve but you just need to stay true to what's inside you.

Now pay for your damn group break.
