Spring Group Break - AL Central

Moving on to the American League Central

Team: White Sox
Buyer: Jason Koenig
Whole Hog: No one sticks out
Best Card: 1997 UD Collector's Choice #7 of 45 Albert Belle All-Star Connection

There are crazy amounts of Albert Belle cards in this lot, most of them going to...

Team: Indians
Buyer: BS
Whole Hog: Albert Belle, Sandy Alomar, Jr.
Best Card: 1994 Fleer #6 of 20 Albert Belle All-Star Team

The Indians had probably the second-highest stack in this break.

Team: Royals
Buyer: Thorzul
Whole Hog: David Cone
Best Card: 1995 Sport Flix #26 David Cone

Cone taking a bite out of the ball is a pretty good image, but doesn't even hold a candle to the back. This would have been an iconic card of the 1990s if collector interest hadn't hit a low point then.

Team: Twins
Buyer: BS
Whole Hog: Matt Lawton, Denny Neagle
Best Card: 1999 Upper Deck HoloGrFX #33 Corey Koskie

It's unfortunate that Koskie had problems later in his career with post-concussion syndrome. I was sitting in the stands one game a few years ago and overheard a dad talking to his kid about "Mr. Koskie," presumably in some sort of pee-wee coaching capacity. Dude should have still been playing, not coaching.

Team: Tigers
Buyer: PAtrick
Whole Hog: Travis Fryman
Best Card: 1995 Upper Deck Collector's Choice #220 Cecil Fielder Special Edition Parallel

Plenty of Tigers in the lot, but I hope Patrick is a Fryman fan.

Up Next: AL East

I've never seen that Cone before.

Welcome to the want list, Cone.....
